Miranda Cosgrove | iCarly
It’s been over a decade since the cast of iCarly said their final goodbyes on their web program. The Nickelodeon series aired for 95 episodes from 2007 to 2012. The show’s rebirth has officially wrapped filming, and the first reboot episode aired on Paramount+ last June 17, 2021. Miranda Cosgrove had already been in children’s and teen films before landing the lead role on iCarly. She starred in the Jack Black-led comedy School of Rock and played Megan Parker on the hit show, Drake and Josh.
Cosgrove attended the University of Southern California when iCarly finished in 2012. She continued her voiceover work for the Despicable Me franchise, which she’d started in 2010 while pursuing her schooling. She has also appeared in NBC’s Crowded, the horror film, The Intruders, and several TV movies. Her most recent film credit includes a role in the movie North Hollywood, about a pro skater, and a guest appearance on ABC’s The Goldbergs. She’s also presently starring in the relaunch of iCarly.
