Angela Cartwright | The Sound of Music
Angela Cartwright became famous as a child actress for her role as Brigitta von Trapp in the hit musical The Sound of Music. On television, she portrayed Linda Williams in the 1950s TV show The Danny Thomas Show.
Cartwright made her first film at the age of three as Paul Newman’s character’s daughter in the 1956 movie Somebody Up There Likes Me. She continued to win TV roles in the ’70s and ’80s, and outside the acting industry, she has worked as a photographer with a studio located in Studio City, Los Angeles. Cartwright also has several book credits. Most recently, she published a novel with Bill Mumy. Although she has not appeared on screen for a number of years, she has not retired from the acting industry yet. In 2018, the 68-year-old actress appeared in Netflix’s Lost In Space.
