Kim Richards began her career in show business as a child, appearing in television commercials. Richards first appeared in a diaper commercial when she was four months old. She had already appeared in twenty small-screen advertisements by the time she was four and a half years old. She earned her role as Prudence Everett in the sitcom Nanny and the Professor. The show continued for three seasons, bringing Richards to national prominence as a young performer.
Kim starred in several additional television shows and films before getting the lead part of Tia Malone in Escape to Witch Mountain. She propelled her degree for her role as a telepathic extraterrestrial girl in the movie and its sequel. After that, Kim took a decade apart from show business to raise her four children. She later returned with her role as Tia in The Blair Witch Project. More recently, Richards and her sister Kyle joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
