Butch Patrick | The Munsters
Debuting his professional acting career at only age seven, Butch Patrick is most known for his performance in The Munsters as child werewolf Eddie Munster. He portrayed the role from 1964 to 1966, and reprised the character in its feature film Munster, Go Home! By the following decade, he played Mark on the ABC morning show Lidsville.
Patrick was discovered by a talent scout when he was seven, which led to a couple of appearances in TV commercials and shows. When recounting how he started his acting career, he credits his sister, who was the one who gave him “all the encouragement.” Aside from his role as a child werewolf, he had guest-starring roles on other popular shows of the ’60s, including I Dream of Jeannie, Gunsmoke, Daniel Boone, and Adam-12. Today, Patrick still appears on the big and small screens, albeit sporadically.
