Cynthia Nixon | $1.5 Million, New York

Cynthia Nixon and wife Christine Marinoni paid $1.49 million for a two-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op at Ageloff Towers in the East Village. Still, they aren’t the only ones listed on the documents— with Michael Graller and William Bowers as buyers. The cute apartment is a good buy in any case, given the place, the house, and the corner unit with lots of windows and light. The lobby of the building is exquisite.

The 12-story mid-rise co-op, built in 1929, has 100 apartments, most of which are one-bedroom, one-bathroom units. The apartment features high ceilings, herringbone wood floors, and original beams and moldings. This house isn’t Nixon’s first foray into the real estate market.  Nixon and her wife live in a four-bedroom, four-bathroom loft at 10 Bleecker Street, and we can’t imagine why the actress would want to relocate now. Who knows, maybe it’s an investment.
