Given her immense popularity, Sarah Paulson does not have the same vast real estate portfolio as her famous peers. She revealed that it took her another 21 years to settle down, since she didn’t fully commit to buying a home in California until she was 42 years old. Paulson spent $1.65 million on the minimalist-style home in the Hollywood Hills, which was previously owned by her American Horror Story co-star Emma Roberts.
The single-story home designed in 1949 includes modern features such as oak cabinetries and flooring, lights, and bi-folding access in the living room that opens directly into the yard. Despite Paulson’s praise for Roberts’ incredible taste, the actress still wanted to make a few structural changes to the 2,100-square-foot space to truly make it her own. The actress set about replacing wood floors with polished concrete, infusing the palette with her array of Moroccan farm decor and unearthing a backyard mystery that Roberts was unaware of.
