Meteorologist

If you aren’t happy with your regular job’s current setup and you have untapped knowledge when it comes to reading weather patterns, it might be time to switch jobs and apply as a meteorologist. Being a science geek will give you an extra advantage, but that’s just a bonus and most agencies don’t have strict preferences — all that really matters is that someone is willing to work for them. Of course, a college degree can give you a little push to the top.

It is considered one of the coolest jobs today, and once you find out the compensation for meteorologists, you’ll be surprised. If you are considering this option, you’ll have to prove to your peers that you are worthy to be one of the company’s main assets.  The average salary for a meteorologist in the United States is around $43,000 per year.
