Bicycle Fisherman

The city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands is considered to be the most bicycle-friendly city in the world. Almost half of the city’s residents use bicycles as their primary form of transportation, and that means they are saving a huge deal of money on gas expenses. The city is also filled with canals and waterways, which means bikes and waterways don’t mesh well.

A lot of motorists accidentally go over the bar and end up sending their bikes into the water. Because of this, bicycle fishing became a viable occupation for citizens of the city. Indeed, there are many bikes to be had from those waterways. The most exciting part of the job, you’ll never know what you’ll end up getting out of the water! The job is to keep the canals clean and safe for the boats. It is also a full-time job with benefits!
