Actress Demi Moore was not always called this way. When she was born, her parents gave her the name Demetria Gene Guynes. She went by the nickname, Demi. When she married Freddy Moore, she decided to keep his last name.

Even when they decided to hire a divorce attorney, Demi still wanted to be known as Demi Moore. Because of this, she not only created her reputation around this name that soon became famous, but she also inspired her own daughter Tallulah to change her name legally.
